Service Checklist

Everything you need to prepare before the crew arrives — ensuring a smooth, efficient service.

Before Service Day

  • Confirm your service date and time window
  • Review your quote and service scope
  • Note any building access requirements (elevator reservations, loading dock hours)
  • Arrange parking for the crew vehicle close to the entrance
  • Notify your building management or HOA if required
  • Gather any specialty packing materials you want used

Access Preparation

  • Clear pathways between the entrance and work areas
  • Remove tripping hazards, rugs, and floor obstacles
  • Ensure elevators are available and reserved if needed
  • Note stair dimensions, tight corners, or narrow doorways
  • Have building access codes or keys ready
  • Identify a bathroom the crew can use

Inventory & Project Prep

  • Have a clear picture of which rooms/areas need work
  • Label boxes with destination room names
  • Separate items that need special handling
  • Set aside items that should NOT be moved or packed
  • Take photos of valuable items before packing
  • Prepare a 'do not pack' area for essentials

Day of Service

  • Be available (or have a representative) to answer questions
  • Walk the crew through the scope of work upon arrival
  • Point out fragile or high-value items
  • Verify the access notes match actual conditions
  • Keep phone handy for any questions during the project
